About Us
Kenya Communities Upgrading Standards (K.C.U.S) is registered as a Non Governmental organization (N.G.O) in the republic of Kenya.
It is a non profit making and non political aligned organization .
KCUS was registered in kenya in the year 1992. Since its inception it has flexed it muscles and given hope to many in many aspects.
KCUS has impacted many lives. It has helped many communities through education, environmental justice for addressing effects of climate change, economic empowerment, and social justice.
As the name goes, KCUS has immensely uplifted and upgraded the living standards of the communities populace.
KCUS stands as a beacon of hope for a better world.
OUR GOALS
1. To work towards realization of clean water in our society.
2. To mitigate climate change by increasing the plants cover.
3. To provide shelter for the vulnerable and the poor.
4. To provide clean water, sanitation and hygiene in the urban slum settlements (WASH).
5. To provide network for womenˈs rights, justice and Advocacy for a just society.
6. Women economic empowerment through education and entrepreneurship..
7. Provide rehabilitation for destitute children and HIV/AIDS orphans through education to reduce stigmatization..
8. Promoting boy child education for the less fortunate..
9. Assisting gender based violence victims in getting justice and recovery (GBV).
10. Provision of best agricultural practices for better yield and promoting traditional foods..
11. Empowering the young mothers economically through entrepreneurship and education.
12. Economic empowerment and education to young mothers by establishing vocational training centers (TVET).

As the chairman of KCUS, I steer the organization in full recognition of the team spirits and departments.
For the organization to achieve its core mandated goals, good governance and integrity in all the sectors is of essence.
I strongly believe that being a team player can give all the departments morale and drive them towards the right direction for the intended goals to be achieved.
In KCUS, we say that working together towards a better future is worth it.
